The video sharing platform has removed these Chinese YouTube channels after receiving its information. Google said the YouTube channels were removed between April and June. Thay says the move is based on an ongoing investigation into an influence operation linked to China.
Google has stated in its quarterly bulletin of misleading information operations that spammy, non-political content was posted on these channels, especially on YouTube. But it also had to do with politics. Although Google has not disclosed the name of the channel, it has provided some suggestions. The company said that now a link to the video with such activity is also being seen on Twitter.

Google said: “These YouTube channels were removed from YouTube between April and June and we have done so under our ongoing investigation into influenza operations related to China.
Spammy content was running through these channels
“Spammy and non-political content was being posted by the channels, but it contained some videos, although they were linked to politics,” the statement said. Google has provided this information in its quarterly bulletin of ongoing operations for its misleading information. Although Google has not announced the names of these channels, it has said that a link to videos with similar activity has been seen on Twitter.
