How to Apply For Tatkal Passport Online: Documents Required for Tatkal Passport To apply for Tatkal Passport, people need many important documents. This includes Voter ID Card, Ration Card, Worth Certificate, Gas Connection Bill, Bank Passbook, Caste Certificate, Driving License, Service Photo, Pan Card etc. However, you will need any 3 of these documents.

- For this, first go to the passport portal. Or you can also click directly here.
- Then register by visiting the Passport Seva Portal. For this, you have to click on the option of New User Registration in the left side.
- Now login with your ID and Password.
After doing this, 2 options will appear on the screen in front of you. This includes Fresh and Re-Issue. - Now click on Tatkal option under Scheme type section.
- Then download the application form and fill it.
- Submit the form. After that complete the payment process.
- Take a print out of the online payment receipt.
- Now book an appointment on the Passport Seva Portal (PSK) near you.
Let us tell you that for Tatkal Passport, you will have to pay almost double the fee than the ordinary passport. If the passport application fee is Rs 1500 then you will have to pay Rs 2000 more along with Rs 1500 for Tatkal passport.
